Valley Laser Eye Centre was the first clinic in British Columbia to offer IntraLASIK with the Intralase iFS femtosecond laser – a 100% blade-free surgical procedure that has exceptional rates of success. It is an ideal option if you are nearsighted or farsighted, and insist on superior vision correction and safety.
What your surgeon will do
With skilled precision, your surgeon uses a near infrared beam of light to make a flap in your protective corneal tissue, without the use of a blade (as in traditional LASIK procedures). The flap is then lifted and your cornea is reshaped with a second laser.
