Implantable contact lenses - ICL

Implantable contact lenses is a state-of-the-art procedure is for patients with extremely high prescriptions which cannot be treated by LASIK. The Implantable Contact Lens is the newest and most exciting way to improve your vision. This procedure has been used worldwide since 1995.

iLASIK

This blade-free procedure combines the advanced IntraLase Femtosecond laser with the VISX Star S4™ excimer laser to provide patients with a procedure so safe and precise that even NASA has approved it for U.S. Astronauts. This advanced treatment platform can treat a broad range of vision imperfections, including nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.

Custom PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy)

For those patients who may not be candidates for iLASIK, Photorefractive Keratectomy, also known as PRK, may be an option. PRK is commonly known as "LASIK without the flap". Instead of making a flap as is commonly done with LASIK, the laser treatment is applied to the surface of the cornea, eliminating all potential negative consequences of a LASIK flap.

Refractive lensectomy

Unlike the LASIK procedure, which alters the shape of the cornea, a refractive lensectomy changes the focusing power of the lens with the eye. The refractive lensectomy procedure consists of removing the eye’s natural lens and replacing it with a lens implant selected to provide clear focusing ability, much like a modern cataract procedure.
