iLASIK (with Customvue™)

Safer. Premium Quality. Highly Personalized. Outstanding Results.

iLaisk is the only surgical eye procedure sanctioned by NASA. iLASIK is the ultimate LASIK procedure, and the result of a decade’s worth of technical refinement. It is truly personalized. The treatment is completely customized to you, based on your individual vision dynamics, and the results are outstanding.

What your surgeon will do ?

The first step in the iLASIK procedure is to perform a series of tests to determine the individual characteristics of your vision. The wavefront analysis system (CustomVue) creates a 3-D map of the unique imperfections of your eyes, thereby allowing your eye surgeon to design your custom eye treatment.

Your surgeon then uses an Intralase iFS™ femtosecond laser to create a superior-quality LASIK flap. Once the flap is lifted, the Customvue laser treatment is applied by the Visx S4 laser with IRIS registration and pupil centration.

Yes. You need to be accompanied on the day of surgery and for your 24-hour follow-up visit. We kindly ask that your companion wait for you in the comfortable downstairs reception area.

question

question

What is my recovery time?

answer

Doctor Blaylock does recommend quiet time at home, perhaps resting or watching TV, for 24 hours following your procedure. You can usually go back to work after 24 hours, although Dr. Blaylock recommends taking off the remainder of the workweek for a more comfortable recovery.
